Sir Thomas de Greene, 5th Lord de Greene, born 1292 in Boughton or Bucklon, Northamptonshire, England, died about 1352 in Boughton, Northamptonshire, England; married 23 October 1312 Lady Lucie la Zouche, born 1276 or 1279 in Harringworth, Northamptonshire, England, died 23 October 1326 in England, daughter of Lord Eudo la Zouche and Millicent Cantilupe.
Thomas was made High Sherriff of Northampton inthe early part of the reign of Edward III. He was knighted and used the title "Sir Thomas, 5th Lord of de Greene."
Lucy is the primary connection to the royal families of Europe for the Greene family Member of Parliament for Northamptonshire 1323, 1337, 1338, 1343. High Sheriff of Northamptonshire 1330, 1331, 1334, 1335, 1343. By his first marriage he obtained nine messuages, one to ft, and four virgates of land with their appurtenances in Harringworth.

His wife, the Queen Dowager, retired in 1150 to a nunnery atAfflighem, in South Brabant, where she died, and was buried 23 April1151, aged about 48. He survived her 25 years, and died 12 October 1176,at Waverley Abbey, Surrey, and was buried, with his father, at WymondhamPriory, Norfolk.
