George Henderson, 2nd of Fordel, also possessed estate of Straiton and
Brownhill. He was admitted a Burgess and Guild Brother of Edin. Sept 1520, and
was for a time Provost of the city. He married firstly Katherine Adamson in
l5l7, and secondly Marion Scott of Balwearie in l539. He died also in l539
leaving issue:
