He [Thomas FitzJohn FitzGerald] married, 16 August 1312, at Greencastle, Joan, daughter of Richard (DE BURGH), EARL OF ULSTER [IRL], by Margaret, daughter of Sir John DE BURGH, of Lanvaley. He died 5 April 1328, and was buried in the Church of the Friars Minor at Kildare. Inquisitions taken after his death are recorded in the Red Book of Kildare. His widow married, 3 July 1329, at Maynooth, Sir John DARCY, Justiciar, [1st LordDarcy]. She died 23 April 1359, and was buried beside her first husband. James Henderson was Lord Advocate 1494-l507, when he became Lord Justice Clerk.
He redeemed the estates of Fordel, Fife Co. in l5l0, and in l5ll, King James IV
granted him the free Barony of Fordell. He had also acquired lands at
Balbeithby in l504, at Stratoun in l506 and l509, and in Carrick in l508. He
married Helen Baty (Beatie?), and was killed along with his son and the King
at the Battle of Flodden which took place on September 9, l5l3
James Henderson's name was also known and recorded as James Henrysoun

This Bennett stayed close to his dad and was sole executor of his fatherswill (Set 14, 1804). Terri copied it from the Hall of Records, Annapolis,Maryland Liber JJ #3, folio 137. 1790 Census has him listed as head ofhouse hold with himself and a male over 16 yrs of age, one female and 2slaves. Who was his wife.
To son Bennet Thompson all the tract whereon I now live which wasconveyed to me by George Thompson and William Thompson being portion of atract called "Rocky Point" and named in their deed of conveyance as the"Brothers' Let" the said land to include the whole of a certain marsh orbranch on North side thereof up to the road that leads to Newtown.
Then who is this Bennett in the 1790 Census:
1790 Census show Bennett Thompson in St. Mary's Co 1 male over 16, and 5females. Who are these females. His unknown wife, his mother? anddaughters-all his sisters married.
