[818] William was twin brother to Alexander. William and Rebecca settled first in the neighborhood of his father's home, but later went to Ohio -- so says his nephew, John Howell of Tennessee -- where he is supposed to have raised a family. From an extensive correspondence I have found no reliable information concerning this man or of his family. One nephew is quite sure that he settled in Indiana, but relatives in that state have no knowledge of his living there. Unwillingly I must leave his historyf or others to investigate.
