Baptismal records submitted by Mr. Boutwell of Woburn from the ParishRegistry of Barkhamstead, in the county of Hertfordshire, England. The"three" older children of Edmund Rice are not found in the Registry atBarkhamstead; they probably came to that place with their parents, butwhere from, unknown.
Resided at Sudbury. D. about 89 years.
Will of Mathew Rice of Sud., Oct. 14, 1716, proved Dec. 30, 1717. gave towife Martha one half his estate; to son, Exr., to four children of dau.Sarah Loker, deceased; to dau. Deborah Sawin; dau. Dorothy Ware; dau.Patience Leland, the farm at Indian Head. Inventory #112.8.2. Nov. 29,1717.
