Moses emigrated to America in 1682 with his brothers John and Benjamin and
sister Mary. He was unhappy in America and could not cope with the difficult
pioneer living conditions in Pennsylvania, and about 1685 he returned to
England where he lived out his life on the Mendenhall family estate, Marridge
Hill.
