Burke's Peerage has William marrying 1st Elizabeth/Isabel Ingaldesthorpeand 2nd Joan/Jane de Vere. This is the opposite orderof MCS. Burke's alsohas him marrying (3rd) Anne, widow of Sir John Harcourt anddaughter ofSir John Horne of Sarsden and having further issue by her.

U.S. President John Tyler is a descendant.
Tylers and their families were in nearly every one of the originalthirteen States at the time of the formation of the Union. Tylers can befound in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and in the Civil War.
In 1311 there was a Thomas Tyler who was a member of English Parliment.
In 1381 Wat Tyler, the blacksmith and English Rebel, marched on London toobtain Redress from the oppressive capitation tax imposed by Richard II.
There were several immigrant ancestors of the Tylers and thereforenumerous early branches of Tylers in America.
Lists of emigrants to America between 1600 and 1700 lists several Tylersthat sailed from England. Through my research I have found a story thatHenry Tyler came to America with two brothers. The two brothers that camewith Henry are not proven but we do have evidence that Henry, born JohnHenry, was the brother of Job Tyler. We do have an extract from the willof Lawrence Tyler naming his children as: John, Job, Moses, Rebecca, andMary. No other actual evidence of blood relation has been found at thistime but the search is continuing into England and hopefully some will befound. Taking in account the three earliest Tylers that came to Americaaround the same time we conclude the following: Upon Landing in Americathey agreed to go their separate ways and therefore, John Henry stayedand settled in Virginia, Job went on to Massachusetts and the thirdbrother settled in Connecticut. However, a William Tyler took the "Oathof Fidellitie" in New Haven in 1657, and his descendants are known as"The Wallingford Line." And we have found a Maryland line of Tylers whobegan with a Robert Tyler. These family histories will be included at theend of the book, in section II, until blood line can be proven. It isalso believed that, Job Tyler and Henry Tyler came with an Uncle RogerTyler, brother to their father Lawrence. This would account for thehistorians stating Three Tylers came together.
All information is printed in this history but the main interest and mostcomplete is that of Henry Tyler of Virginia, who married Anne Orchard andhad three sons. His son Henry is the line of the 10th president of theUSA and his son John Tyler moved to NC on the border of SC and his familyis known as "The Southern Tylers". Daniel, the third son of Henry waskidnapped as a child and never heard from again. Therefore this Tylerfamily history is dominated by the Henry Tyler line and his two sons, andthe family history of Job Tyler, brother to Henry Tyler.
