[12128] He married, before September 1342, Joan, daughter of Sir Bartholomew DEBURGHERSH [LORD BURGHERSH], by Elizabeth, daughter and coheir of Theobald DE VERDON [LORD VERDON]. To her he gave licence to make her will. He died s.p.m., 15 September 1375. After his death his widow lived much at Court,and had many grants for her good services to the King and Queen. By arrangements made in 1369, she had acquired the virtual ownership of the nucleus of the Mohun estate in West Somerset, and in 1376 she sold the reversion of it to Dame Elizabeth Luttrell, to the disinherison of her own heirs. She died 4 October 1404, and was buried in Canterbury Cathedral.

[27589] Not sure here about spouses for Thomas, as he is also shown with another wife, by name of Elizabeth Hawkes Hayden, b. 1618, that he is shown as married to in 1638. Either there is a mixup and Elizabeth Hayden married a different Thomas Dibble, or he was divorced from Mary Grant, as she lived to 1681? Elizabeth Hayden lived to the year of 1689. For right now I will assume that Elizabeth Hayden was not the correct wife for Thomas Dibble, and look into this further.
